Two vacancies at St Albans Museums.

The Marston Vale and Bedford to St Albans City Community Rail Partnerships are working together over a special VE Day concert from Vintage Harmony Group The Femmes. The concert will be around 45 minutes, and will include many well loved songs from the 1940s finishing with a special Vera Lynn medley. A trailer is available at https://tinyurl.com/FemmesVE75trailer. The performance will be available at https://tinyurl.com/FemmesVE75concert from Thursday 7th May (for previewing) until Monday 11th May inclusive.

The Arts Council has emergency funding for arts organisations including museums who have been affected by COVID-19. There are two rounds in April, and applications have been made fast and easy to do. You can apply for funding of up to 35,000 to cover financial loss you are currently suffering. You must have a Grantium account set up by this Friday 3rd April to apply. https://www.artscouncil.org.uk/covid19

Hertfordshire Association of Museums has begun #HertsBedsHeritage where museums in Beds and Herts can share content, so please check it out and feel free to join in.
