1972 Surf trip from Pensacola to Jacksonville This was either the Poles parking lot (back then it was called Access 5), or somewhere near the North Jetty ... The car was Rick Lamarque’s Opel Kadett. I’m pretty sure I’m the guy on the driver’s side, and Mike Stachow is the guy in front on the passenger side, and possibly Russell Robbins (Rusty) in back, passenger side. This was in the midst of the Jesus Movement, thus the Praise the Lord bumper sticker. See more

RIP Che Sharp... From a post by Rich Munson So sad to hear the news about Che Sharp today. Che owned the Surfboards Hawaii Surf Shop in south Cocoa Beach. It was an honor, as a 13 year old kid, to be asked to be on the Surfboards Hawaii surf team, but I soon understood that the real honor was being positively influenced by individuals like Che, and I looked up to him like a big brother. I have many fond memories during several years of my youth of Che, his amazing surfer brother Fletcher and "Big Buddy" their father. I will miss him dearly. My sincerest condolences to Fletcher and family.
