Join our friends at Gloucester Guildhall this Christmas on a free magical search around Gloucester! Eddie the Elf and his friends are hiding all over the City. Can you find them and discover their Christmas message? All you need to do is follow the map to find Eddie and his Friends. Look out for the words in the windows, use the form to keep track of what you find and unscramble them at the end to find the hidden message!... The Kwanzaa Exhibition highlights the holiday celebrated by Black British communities from 26th December to the 1st January; Kwanzaa is a festival of culture, family, food, music and poetry. Come along to learn more about the seven symbols and seven principles of Kwanzaa and how this festival is celebrated here in Gloucester!... This is a community exhibition... Winter Solstice is right around the corner! Traditionally, people would use the Solstice to set their intentions for the coming year, to make wishes and cast spells of good fortune. What do you hope the sun will bring you in 2021? ... Join us on the 21st and 22nd December to write down your wish on one of our paper tags - you can take it home to hang in your garden, or hang it on our museum tree for others to see!

On display until 31 October 2020, I-Mmigrate is a curation of 20 images and oral histories exploring the stories of black and minority ethnic communities from the Windrush generation in Gloucester and African diaspora in Cheltenham.
