Adventure awaits! Come aboard the tall ship for a unique hands-on experience from Long Wharf in Cambridge, 6/14-16, with 2.5 hour morning, afternoon, and pirate sails. Discover the remarkable story behind the KALMAR NYCKEL! Buy tickets online or call weekdays: 302.429.7447. Launched in 1997, Kalmar Nyckel serves as a floating classroom and an inspirational platform for education and recreation. The Kalmar Nyckel Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-based educational organization that built, owns, and operates the Kalmar Nyckel.
Lee Sar- Silent Bid Auction: Going soon! Want to own a piece of Chesapeake maritime history? The next owner of the Lee Sar, built by Bronza Parks in 1951, will be chosen through a Sealed Bid Auction to benefit the Museum on June 22nd at the Ruark Boatworks in Cambridge, Maryland. In remarkably good shape for her age, she measures 46’ in length and is powered by a pair of Perkins Pancake diesels. The vessel is available for dockside inspection by appointment. Sealed Bid Auction to benefit the Museum, spread the word. Lee Sar is a 46’ flush deck cabin cruiser built in Dorchester County by Bronza Parks in 1951. The winning bid will be chosen on June 22nd, 10:30 am at the Ruark Boatworks. The vessel is available for dockside inspection by appointment.
