Behind the scenes at the museum. Sometimes objects need to be treated for insects, and this is my second try at creating a big chamber for larger or delicate objects. The chamber is filled with oxygen absorbing packets and then flushed with nitrogen gas, which creates an anoxic atmosphere. Pests can't survive without oxygen. The first one I made leaked, so it didn't work. Crossing my fingers for this one! DAS TEAM DES NEUEN MUSEUMS // ANIKA MAAß UND SOPHIA RÖSCH // Zum Auftakt unserer Reihe, mit der wir euch Teile unseres Teams im dem Neuen Museum ein bisschen näher vorstellen möchten, sind wir heute ausnahmsweise mal selbst vor die Kamera gehüpft Wir sind Anika Maaß und Sophia Rösch, das Social Media-Team, das euch hier fast täglich mit Infos, Impressionen und vor allem natürlich Kunst versorgt, eure Nachrichten beantwortet, kommentiert, repostet und alles, was dazu gehört!... Anika Maaß (hinten) ist freie Fotografin aus Nürnberg und hat den Instagram-Account des Neuen Museums vor gut drei Jahren mit ins Leben gerufen. Seitdem unterstützt sie uns redaktionell und beglückt uns mit vielen der tollen Fotos, die wir hier teilen. Vielleicht habt ihr sie ja schon bei der ein oder anderen Ausstellungseröffnung oder anderen Veranstaltungen mit ihrer Kamera durchs Museum spazieren sehen! Sophia Rösch (vorne) gehört seit gut zwei Jahren zum Team des Neuen Museums. Im Bereich Social Media arbeitet sie vor allem redaktionell, prüft und klärt Bildrechte und trägt alle wichtigen Informationen aus den verschiedenen Abteilungen des Hauses für euch zusammen. Neben der Betreuung von Instagram und Facebook ist sie als kuratorische Assistenz im Einsatz, ihr erstes großes Projekt war die Ausstellung BAU [ SPIEL ] HAUS und zuletzt hat sie das Projekt STADTMACHEREI betreut, dessen Inhalte wir euch hier weiterhin regelmäßig vorstellen. Ende des Jahres verabschiedet sich Sophia aus dem Neuen Museum und übergibt den Aufgabenbereich an eine Nachfolgerin - damit ihr weiterhin gut informiert bleibt!
