For this week's #MillGirlMonday, we want to share information on two upcoming opportunities to look deeply into the mill girl experience in Lowell! Starting Tuesday, October 6, Tsongas Industrial History Center will present a webinar series called "Every Voice Counts." Join Prof. Robert Forrant for "An Overview of Voting Rights in the United States and Massachusetts" on Tuesday, 10/6 at 6:30 p.m. The following week, Park Ranger Allison Horrocks will present "Mill Girls and t...he Suffrage Movement" on Tuesday, 10/13, same time. Funding for this series was provided by Mass Humanities. The Tsongas Industrial History Center is also offering new Virtual Field Trips. These are offered at no cost from October 1 - November 30, 2020. As of December 1, 2020, the cost will be $125 per program.
