As a Museum we rely on our Volunteers to help deliver our nationally recognised award winning visitor attraction. Volunteers like Bob Shanks BEM. Bob was recently awarded his BEM in the Queen's Birthday Honours for his services to the Seaforth Highlanders Association and community in Culloden, Inverness and Dingwall. I'm sure you will all join us in congratulating Bob on this Honour. Bob is one of our research volunteers, and when asked why he does this, he advised that as a... medal collector he is passionate about finding out about the soldier behind the medal, who they were, what they did outside of military life and where they served.
