Hey everybody! My name’s Daisy, and I’m this week’s guest writer. I’ve been brought on due to my unique occupation. Can you guess what it is? I can practically guarantee you’ve never met anybody with the same job as me. That’s because I’m a ghost hunter. Yep, you read that right. Every day I hop in my car and travel around the country looking for a new ghost to find. Most of the time, I follow leads I find in newspapers, or receive a call from a person who’s found a ghost in public somewhere.
Because I use my car so often, I’m a regular customer at my local car mechanic. Moorabbin is a great place to base my operations, which is why I’ve lived here for a few years now. My house is fitted with a special garage that is big enough not only for my car, but also for all of my hunting gear. Don’t worry, I am completely qualified. I had to get a whole separate licence to even own these items in the first place!
You might think that ghost hunting would be a dangerous occupation, however if you are trained well it can actually be quite simple. Occasionally, the costs can rack up, such as whenever I need to book an appointment for a car air con regas (which is often). The main issue is keeping the public out of the way long enough for me to safely deal with the ghosts. My house is filled with shelves of quirky gadgets, which I’m unfortunately not allowed to share pictures of. Hopefully, if one of you is interested in becoming my apprentice, you’ll get access to them.
I hope you enjoyed this little introduction to hunting. Stay tuned, because for the rest of the week I’ll be going into detail about certain aspects of my job and what it involves.
