Thank You Surgeons

It’s been two years since I had an episode and needed to get a rotator cuff repair. I am so happy to say that my medication has been working and I haven’t had an episode since then. My shoulder has also completely healed which is such a relief because as always, thinking of the worst-case scenario, I thought I wasn’t going to be able to move my shoulder or arms as well as I was able to before the shoulder arthroscopy. Obviously, that wasn’t the case and my shoulder is exactly how it was before my accident.

I just want to take this opportunity to publicly thank the shoulder surgeon who worked on my shoulder. He did such a great job and it’s really reassuring to know that there are people out there that are so capable and good at what they do. Actually, I want to extend this thank you to every medical professional who has ever worked with me. I’ve had so many encounters with doctors, nurses, neurologists, surgeons and the like, and the experience has always been a good one. Obviously, it’s never under happy circumstances that I’m getting medical attention, but even though it sucks, the medical professionals are so good to me.

I had such a good experience with my shoulder injury specialist. In the Melbourne area, people expect a really high-quality surgeon as we’re the most livable city in the world. I can safely say that my shoulder surgeon was the best in the business. I really appreciated how swiftly he and his team got my rotator cuff repair surgery done. I really appreciated the follow-up sessions to make sure that my shoulder was healing correctly. It was just all-around a ten out of ten experience. He definitely helped me make the best of a bad situation.

So to my shoulder surgeon and every healthcare professional that I’ve had work on me in the past, thank you.
